He's not exactly sure how she's managed to gain on him this quickly, but she has, and there is little he may be able to do to manage escape at this point - he banks sharply, left then right, trying to throw her off his track.
There is no fear in him, only the wild, unhinged thrill that he gets from flying - especially this kind of flying, the kind he has not been able to do freely in so long.
And with a partner?
He can't even remember.
He will let her catch him, if she would desire to do so. (She would likely manage anyways.)
