She has slowed in her ascent, concerned about his sudden plunge. And, well, she doesn't want to get TOO far away when she intends on him catching her.
She spirals above him, sun glinting on golden feathers, on skin dampened by sea spray. She's lovely, and whole, and being a dreadful tease, but she will make sure he's so very satisfied.
