He is not certain just what game it is that the hounds and huntsmen are after (there are quite a few 'prey' options within their range, several deer, many rabbits, perhaps even a boar - though he doesn't know fully what THOSE smell like) but he can sense the sounds as well as the vibrations through the earth beneath their feet.

"Hunting party," he mutters softly. "Still quite a ways off. Not sure if they've scented us or something else."

He points in the general direction of travel they're coming from.
