When he senses her emotions shift from concern to relief, he allows himself to relax a little bit more and shifts to better allow her body to curl around his. His tone also lightens.

"They would be fools," he mutters quietly. "For you would not just give your heart and body to anyone, and those who you do choose to let see your true nature should be grateful, honored...should accept all of you."
