Her scent (and the additions to it with the perfumes) has caught his attention and he is relishing it as they kiss, working to commit the different 'pieces' of it to memory so that it can be called upon later if he so desires.
Eventually, his knees hit the bed and he lays her back carefully, breaking the kiss so he can catch his breath and refocus his mind from where it has wandered off a bit.
"You are complex," he mutters, appreciative. "It is like a gift, the more I unwrap, the more I discover..."
He sniffs lightly at the curve of her neck where it meets her shoulder, likely where she will dab on some more of either the same or a similar perfume before she steps out on 'official business', trying to untangle the 'layers'.
