OOM All Skate Skellig Dream Magic Weirdness -Part Seven
It turns out that 'guarding the lair' involves more than just staying in one place. Kreyu has a goal today of scouting outside their borders, looking for possible trouble.
Given that Skellig can't speak the local language, yet, they're not trying to pass as locals. Skellig is just wearing a kilt as they stalk through the forest.
The wilderness is truly wild here, only barely touched by humans. Beasts of all kinds live in these woods, wolves, deer, boars, birds, rabbits, and more.

"Was good, but I missed seeing your face, seeing YOU," she murmurs.
no subject
"Once we remember how t'move, you'll have plenty of opportunity to see me once you've tied me to the bed." A smirk tugs at one corner of his mouth. "A 'captive' audience."
no subject
She breaks into a giggling fit at his joke. "Captive indeed," she eventually manages. "Though an audience that chooses to be my captive, to be mine."
Her expression turns more serious, but warm and gentle. "It amazes me, sometimes, that you choose me over and over again."
no subject
Skellig tips his head slightly to her hand, giving her better access to his hair - which is quite a ruffled mess, but that is the way she likes it best.
"But it was of my own volition that I did not flee. It was by my free will that I decided to stay, it was my choice that I would eagerly be claimed by you as your husband, my desire to gladly claim you as my wife."
no subject
Her lips quirk in a grin, and she kisses him on the lips, soft. "Two very unique hearts, lost and lonely."
no subject
He returns the kiss gently, nuzzles her a bit.
"I would make the same choice over and over and over, if needed. You are the one I will always choose to hold my heart in your hands."
no subject
She reaches for one of his hands, brings it up near their faces. "Such strong, gentle hands. Hands for healing, defending, bringing Light."
"And sometimes for the giving of great physical pleasure," she adds, teasing.
no subject
"They have always been strong and capable," he says quietly. "And I never hesitated to use them when needed. I have always known that I should feel proud of my abilities...but they would bring me such pain, Before. It was difficult to separate the two sides. But now...I do not have the pain as a distraction, and I can use them freely as I would. Thanks to you."
no subject
"My blood is yours, should you need it again," she promises. She laughs softly. "So much happened, that first day we met."
no subject
Tipping his head forward slightly, he encourages her to keep up with the 'petting' she is doing to his hair - it is very relaxing, and in this afterglow haze they are in he is enjoying it very much.
"In the few memories that I could remember from Before...I have always hurt the way I did," he admits. "Once you took care of that, it was as if I had been freed from a prison of my own making...that I did not even know I was in. It took some adjustment." Some of which she noticed, some she likely did not. "I have felt fine since, aside from a few instances. I would hope I would not need it again, but if I truly found myself in pain...I know that your strength is much greater than my own, so I would ask for help."
no subject
There is a flicker of sorrow from her at the confession that in the memories he has of Before, he was always hurting. "I am glad you would feel comfortable asking, although I would not say my strength is much greater than your own."
She pauses. "Well, it is greater in SOME areas, but that's hardly everything."
no subject
"Our areas of strength...vary," he says after a moment. "I meant that your strength is greater than mine in your...lifeforce. Your resistance to harm. Mine has certainly improved...but you have more Karma within your reserves than I could ever dream of holding."
He presses his lips to her shoulder.
"And you would be most upset with me if I did not ask for help when I truly needed it." A beat. "And I have seen you...angry."
no subject
"I would be ashamed beyond words should I ever give you reason to truly FEAR my anger."
no subject
Skellig reaches up to take her hand in his, intertwining their fingers as he brings them to his mouth before pressing his lips against her skin.
"I cannot...I cannot fully explain it, how my soul and heart simply just..." He shakes his head gently, trying to piece his words together in some form of 'sense'. "I know with my entire self that our bond and our love for each other is the strongest thing. I trust that. It outweighs everything else. I simply...know...that I would never have reason to truly fear your anger or your wrath, because your love for me is the strongest of all."
no subject
"Yes," she says, visibly relieved as he finishes his explanation. She presses her lips against the skin of his hand where they are intertwined.
"I am so glad you know that. I, I imagine many would not take my nature as in stride as you have, particularly after having been...intimate with me." Some part of her KNOWS that, which makes no sense, as she's never taken anyone but Skellig to her bed.
no subject
"They would be fools," he mutters quietly. "For you would not just give your heart and body to anyone, and those who you do choose to let see your true nature should be grateful, honored...should accept all of you."
He kisses their hands again.
no subject
The words about accepting ALL of her, resonate. "Part of me wishes that I had been your first. That you would never have known the pain of being with a partner who did not accept all of you."
no subject
Skellig yawns softly, pushing back the firm pull of sleep from the edges of his mind. "But I promise you, my love. You have more than made up for the lack of acceptance that I felt from others. Our partnership has healed wounds in my soul, my heart, that I did not ever think would fade."
no subject
She yawns softly, but she's not inclined to resist the pull of sleep. "We should rest," she murmurs, pressing herself closer to him.
no subject
He can feel it, the surge of Light and Karma in her soul that trickles across their connection, flooding into his. It is soothing and comforting and pulls him closer to sleep, so he does not fight it the second time he drifts off.
Some time later (without the sun, he struggles to make sense of day and night which he realizes means that they will have to make a habit of leaving the Lair at least once a day to help keep his body clock aligned) he awakens before she does - as is usual for them - and shifts his body, stretching beneath her slightly.
no subject
Whatever time it is, the fire has gotten low, which means there's little light to see by in here.
no subject
He LIKES being used as her body pillow.
(It is a subtle way that he can feel claimed by her, which he desires greatly.)
So instead he lays quiet and still, his only movements that of his fingertips as he lightly traces circles on her skin - it is impossible for him to stay truly still.
no subject
She's rising toward wakefulness with his fingertips tracing circles on her skin, nuzzles sleepily against his neck as she comes awake. The noise she makes against his skin MIGHT have been meant as a greeting, it's hard to tell.
no subject
Listening to the darkness around them, he smirks to himself.
"Dunno how you ever expect me t'move," he mutters softly as she stirs to a higher level of 'awake'. "Perfect just like this."
