Even with as wonderful as she is making him feel with all the attention, it is going to take awhile for his body to 'recover' enough to produce enough energy to bring him to arousal and full hardness.

Perhaps it is the innate trust of letting him touch his more 'tender' areas, the 'squishy bits' where the vital organs are more easily accessed, his natural instincts as not-quite-human kicking in to protect himself. But he does not feel that fear with her hands on him, her mouth, even as she growls and nibbles at his skin.
