There is a trickle of blood coming from Skellig's ear, and he's in the middle of a true old-school wrestling match on the deck itself (he's on top) when he hears the words - STOP, STOP - and he listens also, even though he's not taking any orders from this 'captain'.

His ear hurts and there's blood in his eye, so he's squinting - so his glare is even more ferocious than usual. But he can listen with his good ear, for now. But his grip on the sailor beneath him does not loosen...
