Skellig does not seem bothered by the child who has glomped onto him - in fact if anything, he is grateful for the Light and joy that is radiating off of the little one, who has just enjoyed a snack of dried fruits and is clearly Ready For An Adventure!

Skellig purposefully does not give a timetable for that, as (for starters) he has no idea of exactly what they will need to do at the Lair to strengthen the wards, and he would not speak for knowing their travel times either.
