He tips his head lightly towards his companion as Kreyu 'bumps' against his neck and cheek, appreciatively responding to her effort to ground him and help him refocus.

And while he knows Artemesia may extend the offer to them (he and Kreyu) as well, he is uncertain of how large her house is - and would not assume. (Also, he is unsure if Kreyu wishes to spend another night in her feline form, or if they might seek lodging elsewhere that she can shift to her 'true' form and relax.)
