One thing that Skellig is very good at is observing; this applies to all aspects of things. The environment around them, or the subject directly in front of him - his dragon and what makes her moan, makes her gasp and squirm with pleasure. He has taken many, many mental notes over the last few moons since he has found himself in her company...and he accesses that information when needed.

Such as now, when they cannot get too wild (being up in a tree) and he needs to focus on the details. Her nipples, her ribcage, that spot along her side that makes her shiver and shift atop him, the curve of her waist and her hipbones.
