"I think I remember most of what went in, but would probably benefit from a list, if the cook would share his secrets. It was quite good," Skellig agrees. "After we sent it upstairs, we did try some for ourselves."

His efforts to wash his skin take considerably less time - after all, even though she was careful to wash up through the process of assisting with the birth, there was still more reason for her to ensure she got herself clean before soaking.

Resting his wings on either side of the tub, he briefly dunks his face and head into the water, shaking his hair once he emerges. "I think I will prefer soaking in that to sauna," he adds. "Easier to keep my feathers dry."
