OOM All Skate Skellig Dream Magic Weirdness -Part 10

Kreyu has taken a different shape than is usual for her. A dragon, yes, but one of quite different build and coloration!

This shape is more serpentine, although it still has four legs and wings. Her body and her wings are covered in feathers that are all the colors of the rainbow. She fusses with some of her wing feathers, the claws of this shape far smaller, as dexterous as human hands.

"How do I look?" she asks, a little nervous about her appearance.

She LIKES it when he blushes, at least for reasons like this!

"Good." She chuckles, low. "You are even lovelier when you blush for pleasant reasons," she confides. "Want to chase the flush with my lips, follow it with my fingers..."

"I would not stop you if you wanted to do so," he offers casually, tipping his head back to give her better access to one side of his face, his jawline, his cheek.

He enjoys this no-pressure (not that he has ever felt OBLIGATED during any of their time together to do anything) sort of thing that they do sometimes, just playing and trading attention back and forth.

Her fingers are gentle as they stroke the tops of his ears, her lips soft as she kisses his jawline and his cheek. Playful pleasure and attention, without expectation, without pressure, and with no set destination.

"Could do this all night, but we will both need to sleep at some point."

"We will," he agrees. "Especially if we wish to push firmly to our destination tomorrow, so that we can deliver Kirke and Xenophon to safe travels of their own."

But he makes no effort to have her stop; if anything, he encourages more of it by sighing happily as she strokes over his ears. He could rest like this quite comfortably...

"...I am glad we found her alive," he adds after another few moments of quiet. "It was a concern I did not wish to voice."

His happy sighs are a definite encouragement for his dragon to keep doing that, so she does.

"So am I," she replies, voice quiet. "I feared she might be dead, or sold elsewhere."

"That would have certainly complicated things."

Wistfully, he smiles and sighs as she keeps up the motions of her touch. "And to be honest...after this flight to the next port, I wish to enjoy some relatively uncomplicated time with my wife, as we explore new territory and each other's company."

Yes, Skellig has Plans for that. But they are also EXTREMELY flexible, as he wishes to adapt to their surroundings, and just BE with her.

"And I wish to do the same with you."

"Discover new things with you, share in the wonders of the world, BE with you."

She doesn't have Plans, but that could change!

"We are going to have the most wonderful time," he says.

Resting his head besides hers on the pillow, he allows his eyes to lock with hers, studying them as she continues to stroke his cheek, teases his hair.

"Your eyes are stunning in any form you take. Dragon, eagle...even cat. I love them all. But I love them like this most," he whispers. "Even if they do not have violet shimmering in them."

It's her turn to flush, though it's less obvious with her skin tone. She keeps up her strokes of his cheek, her teasing of his hair.

"I am glad you love them like this the most, as this would be how they are most of the time."

Tiredness is starting to creep in at the edges, but she's not ready to sleep quite yet.

Neither is he.

"I know I have said this many times before," he says. "And in many different ways and situations. But I know with my whole heart that we were meant to find each other, to strengthen each other, grow alongside each other."

"You have, but I will never tire of hearing it," she replies.

"I hope you were not wandering the desert long, before you found me," she adds, voice soft. "I would have preferred to introduce you to our world more gently." Though if the choice was 'lost in the desert' versus 'not at all', she can't say she wouldn't have gone for the first option.

"I do not remember much from Before I felt your presence nearby, saw your form shimmering in the distance beyond the waves of heat." He shakes his head. "With how hot I was in my clothes, I don't think I would have lasted very long."

THAT is something he doubts either of them would like to consider. What would she have done if she found him in a worse state? Collapsed upon the sand?

"You have done a fine job of introducing me to our world," he says. "I look forward to more introductions."

"You are likely right, with the heat so fierce." She kisses him softly, holds him just that little bit closer.

She would have tried so hard to save him and she might even have been successful. Still, the thought of him in a worse state is a frightening one she would rather not contemplate.

"And I look forward to making them. Though you may end up introducing ME to things, since we are going to new places."

"We are going to discover things together," he says. "Make new memories. Fresh experiences. Brand new echoes in new places."

He yawns gently, then cuddles closer to her body, smiles as he settles in.

"There is nobody else in this universe or any other that I would desire to do that with."

"Thank you, love," she says, voice soft.

She yawns shortly after he does! It must be contagious.

She cuddles just that little bit closer. "Could sleep, but want to touch you," she murmurs.

"We could adjust our bodies," he suggests. "If you were to sprawl atop me like you do your hoard of treasure, we could sleep and you could touch me through the entire night."

"That sounds like an excellent idea." She yawns AGAIN as they are adjusting their positions.

She sprawls on top of her poor husband, careful not to hurt him, and sighs in contentment. "Feels nice."

Her eyelids are getting heavy...

"Feels very nice."

He yawns and wraps an arm around her body, brings his fingertips to rest at her lower back - she is HIS dragon, even if he might be the treasure.

With her heartbeat and breathing his focus, it is easy for him to fall asleep despite the usual noises one would expect from a busy inn. At some point come daybreak, he stirs faintly and shifts beneath her, moving to wrap her more snugly in his arms.

Even asleep, she is glad to be wrapped more snugly in his arms. He's warm, familiar, beloved, and she has NO desire to move from her current position.

Perhaps it is the feel of his body under her, being held so securely, that prompts her to make a sound of pleasure.

The noise does NOT go unnoticed, but Skellig does not push it, because she is not yet fully awake - perhaps not even partially awake. Her heartbeat and breathing suggest she is still fast asleep...

So he refrains from doing much else but dozing quietly beneath her; he does let his ears 'wander' a bit as he contemplates breakfast.

They are busy cooking breakfast downstairs already, unsurprisingly. Xenophon and Kirke are awake not too far away, talking quietly about their parents and the grief they've had to put on hold.


And it seems like SOMEONE didn't go home to their wife last night, so their wife came looking for them and found them in bed with their mistress. There will probably be shouting about THAT very shortly.

Kreyu begins to stir, her eyes blinking open.

From beneath her, her husband grins as she stirs and wakes.

"Morning, my love," he whispers softly. (He knows Kreyu is not the world's most cheerful 'morning person' so he moves slowly.)

"Morning," she whispers back, a bit bleary eyed, as she wraps herself a bit more tightly around him.

"Don't wanna be a cat yet," she mumbles.

"You don't have to be," he tells her. "We have time yet before the kitchens are done preparing breakfast, our companions are awake but having much needed conversations about healing..."

And THERE is the screech from the wife... that does not need higher level hearing to detect.

"...and someone just found their husband in bed with a woman barely old enough to be their eldest daughter."

Kreyu frowns at the last one.

"If he would do such a thing, she is better off without him," Kreyu growls
