OOM All Skate Skellig Dream Magic Weirdness -Part 10

Kreyu has taken a different shape than is usual for her. A dragon, yes, but one of quite different build and coloration!

This shape is more serpentine, although it still has four legs and wings. Her body and her wings are covered in feathers that are all the colors of the rainbow. She fusses with some of her wing feathers, the claws of this shape far smaller, as dexterous as human hands.

"How do I look?" she asks, a little nervous about her appearance.

It's got a bit of kick too, being mildly alcoholic.

"Indeed, we need to be rested and well equipped before we go wandering off into the countryside."

Part of her still can't believe she had sex in a TREE of all places! It's not something she would have even contemplated as a possibility before she met Skellig.

"Another day or two here, but that's no hardship." Beds make things so much easier, in many ways! "The owner mentioned something about a private sauna with our room, so hot water should be easy to come by."

"My wife is spoiling me," he muses. "Private sauna...a few days spent in an inn before we set out on our next leg of travel..."

He smiles broadly. "We will be sure to take advantage of the hot water. I still need preening," he mutters under his breath. "This would be a good place to do so, in the privacy of our room."

"I would love to help you preen," she says, sincere. "Get you somewhere you can stretch out properly."

"After dinner, perhaps?"

"That sounds like a good idea," he says.

The prospect of having her fingers running and working through his feathers is a nice one to picture in his mind, but he will behave as they are still in public. His focus shifts back to his meal; he is hungrier than he initially thought, and the food is good.

Perhaps he worked up an appetite, pleasing his dragon?

After dinner, they explore their suite. "Would the sauna help with preening, do you think?" she asks. "It's quite spacious."

"I think it would," he says. "From what I have heard of them. I have never used one, personally."

A first time for everything! The suite is spacious and well-appointed, and will be more than enough for what they need for a few day's stay.

"The owner explained how to use it," Kreyu tells him. "We should wash up a bit first, with the pitcher and basin in the room."

The sauna is closest to a Finnish sauna in style.

She'll help him wash up with the lukewarm water and some soap. "Once the rocks are hot enough, we will throw water on them to make steam."

As he removes his clothes in preparation for washing up, he finds a random leaf stuck to his ribcage, plastered there from their earlier escapades...

"Today is quite a day of firsts," he comments, as he peels the leaf free from his skin. "First time I have ever had sex in a tree... first time to use a sauna..."

Kreyu flushes at his mention of them having sex in a tree. "Part of me still can't believe we did that."

She starts to remove her own clothes, brushes off an errant leaf or two. "Lots of firsts for both of us."

Skellig laughs. "To be quite honest, my love, I can't either," his voice is bright and playful. "I know that we are a unique pair, but even that was unexpected."

Once he is fully undressed, he shakes his wings out and rolls his shoulders as he watches her remove the rest of her clothes. "I look forward to discovering many more firsts with you."

She laughs with him. "Just, felt right." She shrugs, helpless to explain it.

"Always strikes me, when you shake out your wings. They're so lovely, so grand." She dips a rag in the water and soap, begins to clean herself off.

"And I with you," she says softly, smiling. "So many wonders to see in the world."

Even in the low light of their room, the flush that spreads across his skin is evident as she compliments his wings.

"I have never been so proud of them as I am when you compliment them," he says. "Your words help remind me of their beauty."

She finishes washing herself off, is pleased at his flush.

"I am glad I can do that for you," she says. She grabs another rag, dampens it. "Would you like some help washing off?"

Her intentions are actually innocent, at least this time!

"I would," he says. "It will make it easier."

Getting his skin cleaned up is relatively straightforward, and they manage to avoid getting their hands entangled with each other. And then it is time for the sauna, once they are both cleaned up enough...

The warmth of the small room is very nice, even before the humidity...

"If my bones still ached as I used to? This would be quite welcome."

She kisses his cheek. "I am glad your bones no longer ache like they used to." It makes her heart ache, the thought of how much pain he used to be in!

"If you would like to find a place to sit, I could start work on your wings?"

There is a low stool that he settles himself on, giving her an angle to work at his wings.

"They are not quite as much of a wreck as they have been in the past, but they could use your attention."

"I will always be glad to help with your wings," she says as she starts work on the upper edges of his wings. She kisses the back of his neck, quick and light. "When I manifest mine, they are preened already, or I'd have your hands in my wings all the time."

Involuntarily, his wings rustle gently as she begins to deftly sort his feathers into place. "I am grateful for it. They are in much better shape these days, then they used to be before I found myself wandering the desert."

He allows his eyes to slide closed, relaxing slightly.

"They do look better than they did when we first met," she agrees. To be fair, with the shape he was in, it is unlikely ANY wings would look their best.

"So soft, and such lovely color patterns," she murmurs as she works. "Now you have a mate to preen you, make sure they are in their best possible condition."

She chuckles, low. "And that YOU are in the best possible condition."

"I am VERY lucky," Skellig agrees. "And lucky to find myself a mate who knows the intricate nature of feathers and preening."

He flexes his wings as she works at them, sorting his feathers into order.

"My attempts with my own feathers were rather disastrous at first," she confesses. "You were just lucky that you missed all of my stages of awkward fumbling and looking like a wreck."

It's soothing, working on his feathers like this, the heat of the room. "I thought OIL would help. You can imagine how that went."

"Quite a difference in preening oils and other types," Skellig makes a little bit of a face. "That would be quite a mess to clean up."

And he has seen how she bathes in her dragon form. To try to deal with the mess of sticky feathers? That would be quite disastrous.

"Oh, it was," she replies. It's funny NOW, but it wasn't at the time. "Took hours and hours and I was utterly exhausted at the end of it."

She clears her throat. "I might have sulked, just a little."

Skellig does NOT laugh, wisely.

"You're kind of cute when you sulk," he comments playfully. "You do this thing with your mouth that just sorta makes me grin, as long as you at not truly hurt by whatever is happening..."

[brave_kreyu]

"I do, hm?" she replies. "I have come to love all of your grins, so perhaps I will allow myself to sulk a bit, should the circumstances call for it."

"Ah, the stones are hot enough to put water on, for the steam."

She does just that, steam pouring off of the rocks as she ladles water onto them.
